Diaphragm-Type Surge Tanks
Tanks that separate liquid from precharged gas with a flexible diaphragm to dampen pressure fluctuations in a pipeline. When flow is suddenly interrupted, the diaphragm compresses to absorb the energy, then returns the liquid to the line as pressure drops, protecting the system; manufactured to ASME Section VIII. The product is custom-designed according to project requirements, operating conditions and relevant standards based on customer demand.
- Project-specific engineering and design
- Production compliant with relevant standards and customer specifications
- Quality control, testing and documentation
- After-sales technical support
About the Product
Absorbs the energy generated when flow is suddenly interrupted (pump stoppage, valve closure) via its diaphragm, lowering pressure peaks in the pipeline. A protective investment that extends equipment life on long-distance transmission lines.
